Tutor Referral Service

The Ohio Valley Branch is often asked for the names of tutors who are knowledgeable in using multisensory techniques. This service provides the names of the tutors to the interested party. The tutee’s parents and the tutor decide on the location, the number of sessions and financial arrangements. While the Branch provides a list of tutors, it does not endorse any specific tutor. Tutor Referral Service

If you have completed an Orton-Gillingham Practicum or are knowledgeable in multisensory reading techniques, please consider adding your name to our tutor referral list. We continue to see an increase in demand for these services throughout Cincinnati and surrounding areas. The number of phone calls that the Ohio Valley Branch receives requesting names of tutors exceeds the number of instructors we currently have available. In response to these requests, the Branch provides the names of tutors to interested parties. It is then the responsibility of the client and the tutor to make financial arrangements and agree on the location where services will be provided. While the Branch provides the list of tutors as a service to the community, it does not endorse any specific tutor.

The Ohio Valley Branch considers this a valuable service and we are continually updating the tutor referral list in an effort to keep it current. If you would like to have your name added or if you are presently on our list and are no longer providing tutoring services, please contact the OVB office at (513) 651-4747.
